IMG North of the Mountain Primary Care is a small primary care practice; we emphasize developing personal relationships with our patients to help you reach your health goals.
Our clinicians and staff are your neighbors, your fellow church parishioners, perhaps even your kid's T-ball coach. It often seems the communities of northern Schuylkill County don't get enough credit or attention; our motivation is to serve those communities by giving our patient's the time they need to be heard and understood. We offer the full spectrum of primary care for ages 13 and older; appointments available for sick visits, routine follow ups for chronic medical conditions, preventative health visits, and Medicare Wellness Exams. We work with patients living with Diabetes, High blood pressure, Asthma and COPD, Heart Failure, Anxiety and Depression, Arthritis and inflammatory conditions, obesity, and much more.

FEMM helps women feel their best by addressing the hormonal imbalances that contribute to commonly experienced symptoms. Andrew seeks to boost his patients body literacy, and believes that ovulation is a sign of health and infertility is a symptom, not a diagnosis. Andrew is FEMM certified through the Reproductive Health Research Institute and has also trained in the NeoFertility model.

Dr. Mackenzie Mady, DO
Family and Obesity Medicine
Dr. Mackenzie Mady, DO is a board-certified family medicine physician deeply rooted in Schuylkill County. Born and raised in the region, she is proud to serve the community she calls home. Dr. Mady earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her residency in Family Medicine at Abington Memorial Hospital. In addition to family medicine, Dr. Mady has a clinical interest in addiction medicine as well as nutrition and wellness and is board-certified by the American Board of Obesity Medicine as a specialist for treating obesity. She is committed to providing compassionate, patient-centered care for individuals and families throughout every stage of life. In her free time, Dr. Mady enjoys staying active and spending time with her three children.

Dr. Robert Thurick, Do
Internal Medicine
Dr. Rob Thurick grew up in Ashland and graduated from North Schuylkill Jr./Sr. High School. He attended Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine, and completed his internship and residency at Lehigh Valley Hospital–Cedar Crest. He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Post Acute and Long Term Care Medicine as a Certified Medical Director. He is grateful to return and have practiced more than 13 years in the community he grew up in. In addition to his work in the inpatient, outpatient and post acute setting, Dr. Thurick enjoys serving the community as school physician for the North Schuylkill School District, Medical Director for the Washington Fire Company Community Ambulance and as medical director for the Hospital Medicine service at Lehigh Valley Hospital–Schuylkill. He was also elected as President of the Medical Staff of Lehigh Valley Hospital Schuylkill in 2024, now part of the Jefferson Health System. Dr. Thurick feels that having the ability and skill set to care for the sickest patients in the hospital setting translates to being a better outpatient clinician. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife, three young children and family. His nonclinical interests are carpentry, world news, travel, grilling, and marksmanship.

Andrew Rall, FNPC
Nurse Practitioner
Andrew Rall, FNPC is a transplant to northern Schuylkill county, having married a Schuylkill native. He is an alumni of The Franciscan University of Steubenville, in Steubenville, Ohio, and subsequently completed a Masters of Nursing at Kent State University. After graduation, he completed a Primary Care NP Residency at the VA in Cleveland, Ohio. He is licensed through the PA State Board of Nursing and is nationally certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practioners. As a certified family nurse practitioner with 13 years of nursing experience, Andrew has a clinical interest in fertility awareness, hormonal health and restorative reproductive medicine. He is a certified FEMM provider and is NeoFertility trained to promote hormonal health and wellness and to treat couples experiencing infertility. Andrew has a passion for teaching his patients about the body and communicating them understand the “why” behind their health care recommendations. In his nonworking hours, Andrew enjoys spending time with his wife and 5 children, general tinkering, and driving his not-quite classic convertible.

Angela Furca-Brennan, FNPC
Nurse Practitioner
Angela Furca-Brennan is a native of Kulpmont, PA and graduate of Mount Carmel Area Jr./Sr. High School. Angela is a graduate of Pottsville Hospital School of Nursing. She attended Pennsylvania State University for undergraduate studies and Bloomsburg University for both her Masters and Post Masters Degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She is licensed through the PA State Board of Nursing and is nationally certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. With 35 years of total nursing experience, Ange's clinical background encompasses 20 years in emergency medicine, including 5 years as a nurse practitioner, and 10 years as the lead APRN for IMG Hospital Medicine at Lehigh-Valley Schuylkill. Angela shares a practice philosophy of working together as a team to cultivate a collaborative practitioner - patient relationship to provide the best standard of care for our patients, optimizing the best, healthiest life for each individual. Angela enjoys spending time with her husband Jeff, daughter Kim, son in law Mark and her two grandchildren Juliana and Ellie, and traveling the world.

Tiffany
Tiffany is our practice lead and coordinates our Mt. Carmel location where she is known and loved by our patients. She is a graduate of Mt. Carmel High School and Schuylkill Technology Center for nursing. She loves spending time with her family and going to racing and sporting events.

RN
Deb
Deb is an experienced RN who acts as our phlebotomist at the Mt. Carmel location and checks up on patients over the phone via chronic care management calls.
